The Butler Hangar roofing project has encountered several technical challenges along the way. However, the Board of Directors and the PAC-10 team are working diligently alongside our contractors to see the project through to completion.

We appreciate your continued patience and support as we move forward. Thank you for standing by us during this important restoration effort.

The Pacific Coast Air Museum is a unique collection of authentic, well-cared-for aircraft, and a non-profit organization with a dedicated base of aviation experts who are giving back to the Sonoma Community through education and preservation.

Since our founding in 1989, the Pacific Coast Air Museum has enjoyed exceptional growth, both in membership and in the acquisition of historic aircraft and artifacts. We have also expanded our Education Programs for children and young adults, have increased our capacity to repair and restore aircraft and artifacts, added airworthy flying aircraft, and hosted countless community events.

Hangar 2, our newest addition since the COVID lockdown, boasts many historical photos and cool aviation artifacts, all with a story to tell.  Entering this exhibit room will give one pause seeing walls covered in history.  Prominently featured are two Dioramas depicting the Santa Rosa Army Air Field as it was during WWII and the Naval Auxiliary Air Station that was located further south near Stony Point Rd.  You will also find a large flight helmet collection scattered among the exhibits.  Three engine displays  and a couple of cockpit simulators are also housed in the space.

We also utilize Hangar 2 as a meeting space and can rent it out for birthday parties, memorials, and other events.  Hangar 2 has a fully functioning multimedia center and plenty of chairs to suit all your needs.  Be sure to check out Hangar 2 on your next visit to PCAM.  It is open mostly on weekends and for events like Hot Dog Thursday!
