is a non-profit organization whose mission is to To Educate and Inspire both young and old about our aviation heritage and space technology, to Preserve historic aircraft and artifacts, and to Honor veterans.

"One seldom finds such a collection of user-friendly aircraft amidst congenial hosts and lovely wine-country weather. Learn about the vast array of educational programs, scout activities and the opportunities for birthday parties and other gatherings. Bring your family - bring the kids from school - bring the scout troop. ...you´ll find it hard to leave."

Oral History Porject

Join us for a staff presentation and learn about the Pacific Coast Air Museum's participation in the Veterans Oral History Program. Hear from a group of dedicated volunteers who have met with, interviewed and recoded the stories of veterans who share their stories of service to our country.

Learn about the recent marathon project that interviewed more than fifty veterans from WWII, Korea, the Cold War, Vietnam and Desert Storm at the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Hall.

The marathon consisted of a Saturday and Sunday event coordinated by Jennifer Dawes of Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey’s office, Barbara Beedon of PCAM, Videographer Andre Cahill who records our museum guest speakers each month, Steve Ruesel, principal interviewer and Ron Pearson, Project Photographer. The taping sessions included eight videographers, twelve interviewers and twelve other volunteers covering twenty plus hours at the Veterans Hall. Notably, there are additional hundreds of hours involved - editing, cataloging and producing the final products that will become part of the Pacific Coast Air Museum’s collection as well as being sent to the Library of Congress where each recording becomes part of the American Folklife Center, archiving the story of each veteran.
