2017 Toys for Tots Donation Drive

PCAM and Marine Corps League Detachment 686 are collecting toys for fire victims. Donate and get a free Museum admission!

This Holiday Season, kids who lost their homes and precious belongings in the recent Northern California fires will need a bit of extra comfort. The Pacific Coast Air Museum and Marine Corps League Detachment 686 of Santa Rosa are trying to provide some holiday cheer with Toys for Tots.

Now, when you bring an unwrapped toy to contribute to Toys for Tots, we will reward you with one free admission to the Pacific Coast Air Museum.

How it Worksfive US Marines in dress uniform saluting, in front of a Toys for Tots banner

1. Come to the Pacific Coast Air Museum during our regular hours by Sunday December 10, and bring a new, unwrapped toy to give away.

2. We’ll deliver all toys to Marine Corps Detachment 686, who will give them to the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, for distribution to local kids.

3. You get a voucher for one free admission to the Museum, for use that day or some other time.

Each toy you bring earns you one free voucher.

Best of all, your toy gift will brighten the hearts of kids who will dearly appreciate it.

Act by December 10!

In order to get the toys to the kids in time for Christmas, the final date for donations is Sunday, December 10! Come by on or before that date to claim your free admission voucher.

Thank the Marines!

This Toys for Tots event is made possible through Marine Corp League Detachment 686 of Santa Rosa in cooperation with the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.

The Pacific Coast Air Museum has worked with the Marine Corps League in the past. We know them as a great group of heroes, not just just in defense of our country but here in our own community providing support and comfort to those who need it most. Thank you Marines!

What Toys are Accepted

Toys for Tots does not publish a list of appropriate toys to donate. If such a list were created, it would likely result in a limited selection of items to distribute in each community. They would rather their donors consider what might be an appropriate gift for their own child/relative, purchase the item, and donate to Toys for Tots.

Toys for Tots typically accepts toys for kids up to age 12 or so, but feel free to contribute items appropriate for young and older teenagers, including: sporting equipment/bags/balls; books, backpacks, cosmetics, purses, watch/wallet gift sets, bath gift sets, board games, radio control cars/trucks, hand-held electronics, skateboards/helmets, curling irons, hair straighteners, and hair dryers.

Toys for Tots prefers not to accept realistic looking weapons and gifts with food. If donated, such items will not be distributed.
