The Financial Need
Founded in 1989, The Pacific Coast Air Museum has enjoyed exceptional growth over the last decade, both in membership and the acquisition of historical aircraft. The museum has grown so large that PCAM needs to relocate to a new permanent site which will accommodate our growth and expansion for many years to come.
Currently the museum is located at a temporary site on the east side of the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa, California. It is important to note that, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors approved by resolution, the allocation of approximately 14.5 acres on the south side of the of the airport as the site of the new museum facility.
The museum Board of Directors and the membership have agreed that now is the time to embark on this fund-raising activity to construct a new, greatly expanded permanent facility to be located approximately 1/4 mile from our current location.
As with all financial considerations, we encourage you to discuss potential tax advantages and other aspects of charitable giving with your attorney, tax advisor or financial consultant.
