Load
Although the original plan had
been to put the SR-71 nose in the big rental truck, the crated
Astro Nav Unit (a bonus pickup while at Barstow) and the huge
crated engine spike fit in the truck beautifully. Dave kept
offering to drive, and even beat Jim at the gas pump once.
Both parts are now on display at the museum.
