Unpacking the Goods
After the nose was lifted off
the trailer and put in place near the new patio, the spike,
rudder and ANS were unloaded and placed in their temporary
display locations. When we unpacked the rudder, we were amazed
to find a brand new rudder, apparently a spare that was never
used. And when we unpacked the engine spike, we found that
someone must have wanted an SR-71 souvenir, as the tip was gone.
Fortunately, we were able to obtain another tip from Barstow.
