SR-71 Nose on Trailer
This is how the SR-71 nose, all
3,000 pounds of nose and dolly, looked after finally being
successfully loaded and readied for the trip home. And this is
exactly how it looked as it traveled first on I-15 and then on
I-5, uncovered, in all its glory for all to see. It sure turned
some heads, but caused no accidents that we've heard of, thank
goodness.
