In the Cockpit
Our Harrier was built as an A
model in Kingston England and first flown on May 25,
1973. It was the forty second Harrier built for the USMC
in the third production batch of thirty aircraft and
had the Interface /
Weapons Aiming Computer (I/WAC) incorporated. Known
as the Baseline System it solved the ballistic equations and
generated the necessary attack
information in the HUD.
