Tomcats On The Prowl
"Vandy 1" and "Vandy 11" of U.S. Navy Evaluation
Squadron VX-9 (formerly VX-4) fly in close formation over Point Mugu, California.
"Vandy 1", an F-14D Super Tomcat painted in a unique black coloring, is flown by
the Commanding Officer of VX-9. "Vandy 11" is an F-14A tomcat and is now on
permanent display at the Pacific Coast Air Museum. "Vandy 11" was flown to PCAM
in June of 1995.
